The struggle is hard. With a culture of "macho-ism" and the general stigma of mental health, seeking help is often the hardest step to take. This is when we need to "band together" in peer-support (Jahnke, Gist, Poston, & Haddock, 2014). But, often our peers do not have the resources to effectively help us out. We need to seek out professional help.

ARE YOU IN CRISIS? CALL 9-1-1.

“You’re just at the bottom of the abyss... there doesn’t look like there is anything out there that’s going to make you feel better”

— Sean Laverty - on CBC's "The Current" talking about PTSD

While the focus is on the Northumberland and the immediate, surrounding areas, we will make all attempts to find resources for anybody who comes forward requesting such help.
